Phase 1: Treatment & investigation (1–6 months)
You focus on getting better. We collect the police report, recorded statements, scene photos, witness contact, your medical records and bills, and any video footage before it’s overwritten.
Phase 2: Demand & negotiation (1–4 months)
When you’re medically stable we send a settlement demand with all proof. The insurer typically responds within 30–60 days. Most cases settle in this phase.
Phase 3: Litigation, if needed (9–18+ months)
If the insurer won’t pay fairly, we file a lawsuit, take depositions, work up experts, and try the case. Roughly 5% of our cases need this. Most of those still settle before trial — but only because we got ready to go to trial.
